Chef Aarika is bringing the art of sushi rolling to Milieu Fermentation for a fun and flavorful evening of hands-on learning, creativity, and craft brews.
In this interactive Sushi Making Pop Up, guests will learn the fundamentals of sushi making: from preparing and seasoning sushi rice to mastering the techniques behind building and rolling delicious sushi rolls. Whether you’re completely new to sushi or looking to sharpen your skills, this workshop is designed to be approachable, engaging, and full of flavor.
Each participant will:
Learn how to prepare and season rice
Learn how to roll and slice 2 different types of sushi - maki & a handroll
Enjoy a spicy tuna handroll and a full maki roll with your choice of filling
Drinks available for purchase
Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, connect with fellow food lovers, and sip on a brew while creating your own handmade sushi creations.
A note on time: 5pm is a fluid start, participants may still arrive and participate up until 6pm.
